The Goma family moves into their new home. A news which delighted not only the family, but all Albanians who showed solidarity with their history. Little Andileta, confessed a few months ago the pain and suffering they were going through from the harsh conditions in which they lived. Their house was old and in danger of collapsing.
“I do not want to live anymore! This is old! It’s rains everywhere. I would like to have better conditions than these, it is a pity to stay the way we are.”
Her call for help mobilized people across Albania, who were willing to help. But, in particular, two Albanians from Northern Macedonia have made a very large contribution.
“I want to thank two boys from Struga, who wants to remain anonymous. They are two extraordinary boys, who at the first moment they heard your story wanted to help you. They were determined that we will build a new house from scratch. Now forget the suffering, we are by your side for every need, “ said Arbër Hajdari, the CEO of “Fundjavë Ndryshe”, at the moment of handing over the keys.
In addition to the new home, “Fundjavë Ndryshe” is also taking care of the medical treatment of the little girl, Olivias, who suffers from a skin disease.
The Goma family lives in Funara, a remote village in Librazhd. Apart from the aggravated health condition of the head of the family, the family lived amidst poverty. But those days are over. For the family, this is a new beginning.
