Since the presentation of Xhesi’s case 3 weeks ago, the reactions have been numerous. The sad confession of the 8-year-old, who sought help to recover, caused a large number of people to mobilize. After “Fundjavë Ndryshe” started the campaign, it was achieved in a short time to raise funds for the operation of Xhesi.
The 8-year-old was born with scoliosis, a disease that causes the spinal deformity, and that over time worsens, putting her life in danger. The only hope is a surgical intervention, which is performed abroad. But difficult economic conditions made it impossible for the family to carry out the operation.
The founder of “Fundjavë Ndryshe” announced through a post on social networks, that the necessary amount of 17 thousand euros has been collected. And that Xhesi is expected to undergo surgery very soon, which is a very difficult intervention.
