The newest show “Historia e Fundjavës” has started on the evening of September 13th. As the CEO of “Fundjavë Ndryshe”, Arbër Hajdari has previously announced, the episode was filled with emotions, but also tears of joy.
One of the stories presented was the appeal of Xhensida. The 10-year-old was born with scoliosis, a disease that causes deformity of the spine, and which over time worsens, putting her life in danger. Due to the difficult economic conditions in which her family finds herself, Xhensida finds it impossible to cure.
“The doctors told me that if the operation is not done now, the girl could end up in a wheelchair. I would not want to live anymore, because I can not see my girl like that. I have not even taken her for a visit for more than 3 years, because I do not have the economic conditions, ”says Jonida, her mother.
Her only hope is a surgical intervention abroad. But, time is not in her favor, as every passing day is one less opportunity to heal. After the analysis and consultations that “Fundjavë Ndryshe” conducted, a hospital in Turkey said that this intervention costs 17 thousand euros.
Although Xhensida’s condition is serious, she still hopes we can help her. Because she hopes in me, in you, in all of us!
