A few days ago, Amber’s mother begged to save her little girl. Through a video message, she called on all Albanians for help, as the family could not afford their daughter’s operation.
The prayer of this mother was immediately answered by Albanian charities all over the world. In record time the amount needed for Ambra’s operation was raised. The baby is expected to perform the intervention within a few days. While her mother thanks all the Albanians who gave hope to her daughter.
Ambra is only 5 months old but was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a serious brain disease. Her condition was very critical and she had to undergo urgent surgical intervention. As she not only risked serious brain complications such as significant intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities but also would be fatal for Ambra.
