The first homes for those affected by the November 26 earthquake are ready. The news was announced by the CEO of “Fundjavë Ndryshe”, Arbër Hajdari. Through a post on social media, he has given the good news for the first 10 families expected to move into their new homes.
The November 26 earthquake caused the tragic loss of 51 people and thousands of families continue to stay in tents after their homes were destroyed. For this reason, “Fundjavë Ndryshe” is working intensively to accommodate them as soon as possible.
Hajdari informed that within a few days the first houses will be donated, while new inaugurations are expected very soon. The head of the foundation said that within 2 months, another 30 houses will be ready.
The houses are 109 m2 each, quite well organized. Half of them are located in Tirana and the rest in Durrës. Each of the families will also be given all the house documentations.
“I can not find words to thank from the bottom of my heart the donors who made it possible. As we promised, in each inauguration video, we will put the names of the donors. God bless all Albanians! ”, Hajdari closed his announcement.
At the same time, the foundation is working to distribute food and basic products to hundreds of families every day. With the sole purpose of being close to any person in need.
