Melek has just turned 1 year old, but life for her is very difficult. She suffers from a serious disease called spina bifida, which has deformed her spine and legs. A smiling child, although the pains keep getting worse and her health was in danger.
The little girl needs to have an operation abroad, which costs 15,000 euros. But, this amount was unimaginable for Melek’s parents. Although they had tried to gather income even through debts, they still could not afford Melek’s recovery.
“Fundjavë Ndryshe” joined the family’s call for help and within a short time the good news was received. The necessary amount was collected and Melek will soon leave Albania, to undergo the intervention abroad.
