Frida is 60 years old, living alone with her sick son, Ergys. He suffers from epilepsy, a serious illness with which he was born. Even the mother is sick, she suffers from tension and heart disease. Due to health problems, they end up in the hospital almost every week.
“I have been living here for over 10 years, I do not even have money for rent. I don’t even have enough money to buy medicines. We are both dying in this house. ”
They live in very poor conditions, in a destroyed building, near the Tabakëve Mosque. For 8 months they have no electricity or water. Their only income is the boy’s disability pension, with which they buy some of the medicines. From time to time the neighbors help them with food, and often they spend days without eating.
With tears in her eyes, Frida seeks only a warm shelter, to get out of that destroyed building. She and her sick son need our help.
