With slow steps, Albania is emerging from the state of emergency caused by COVID-19. And since March, when the first cases of those affected were officially confirmed, everyone’s eyes are on the medical staff. They were called heroes who fought in the front line with the unknown virus. Therefore, solidarity with them has been very important. For this reason, the foundation “Fundjavë Ndryshe” in addition to families in need throughout Albania, has also helped the medical staff.
Thousands of basic products, such as water, croissants, and various liquids, have been distributed. Also, medical protective equipment, such as aprons, etc. The purpose of Fundjavë Ndryshe” in these difficult days was to help not only people in need but also to be near the medical staff.
Pëllumb Pipero, infectious disease doctor at QSUT, thanked the contribution given by the “Fundjavë Ndryshe” foundation. Describing it as a necessary help for the increased demands for coping with the situation by the coronavirus.
“In this situation, we were all in front of an unknown enemy and of course we did not lack the help of state institutions. But, they would not be enough without the solidarity and help of many other public and non-public institutions.
I would like to appreciate the unsparing help of ‘Fundajvë Ndryshe’. After the first contact with Mr. Hajdari, they helped us and continue to be near us. Giving their assistance not only to the medical staff but also to the sick peoples. Therefore, help has not only been welcomed but also needed.”
“Fundjavë Ndryshe” continues its mission to help overcome this difficult situation as easy as possible.
