1 year ago “Fundjavë Ndryshe” published the story of the Mustafa family. 3 paralyzed people living in inhumane conditions, together with two sick parents. They lived in an old house in the village of Kuç in Vora, but the September earthquake destroyed it completely. As a result, they lived in tents in appalling conditions.
Shortly after the call for help, the CEO of “Fundjavë Ndryshe”, Arbër Hajdari gave them the good news. That they would finally come out of the misery where they were. In record time, a new house was secured in Vora for the Mustafa family. The long nights, when they often slept outside the tent, as there was not enough space, were already over.
But, although the pain was relieved, Gentian, Suzana, and Arta still did not feel happy. From the inability to move, they continued to be doomed, they were forced to stay only inside. It was also difficult for Flamur and his wife, who take care of the three paralyzed and their parents who also can no longer move. Having it almost impossible to send them even for medical examinations.
Through a post on social media, Hajdari announced another surprise for the Mustafa family. Through a donor of “Fundjavë Ndryshe” who lives in Switzerland, a special means of transport was provided for the family.
Disa muaj më parë ne i ndërtuam një shtëpi të re familjes Mustafa. Kjo familje ka 4 të paralizuar, Flamuri vllai i madh…
The Mustafa family was in a very difficult situation, apart from the poverty they also had to face health problems. Suzana, Gentiani, and Arta have been affected by epilepsy since a young age. Over the years, their health worsened. But the financial inability of the parents to follow them with treatments aggravated their health even more. As a result, all 3 children ended up in wheelchairs, unable to walk.
But today, they feel happy, for Arta, there is no longer just darkness, as she used to say. For them, it is a new beginning.
